The Switch 2 And PS5 Might Not Be Getting Every Halo Game From The Master Chief Collection, Insider Claims

A reliable Xbox insider has suggested that the rumoured Switch and PlayStation ports of Halo: The Master Chief Collection might not include every game from the series.

Over the past year and a bit, Xbox has undergone one of its biggest strategy changes of all time and moved away from first-party exclusives. As Hi-Fi Rush, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Grounded, and Forza Horizon 5 have been proving, Xbox doesn't really have any interest in exclusives anymore, and is basically shifting towards being a publisher.

Even though it seems like most Xbox games are making their way over to PlayStation and Nintendo now, there are still of its biggest series that have yet to make the leap, such as Gears of War, Hellblade, and Microsoft Flight Simulator, which are all rumoured to have ports in the works. The biggest franchise that's rumoured to leave Xbox, though, is none other than Halo itself.

For a while now, there have been a lot of rumours that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is going to get ported over to the Nintendo Switch (likely the Switch 2) and PlayStation, but it's not something that's formally been announced yet....
