The official Ghost of Yotei website has randomly been updated with a few new pieces of information, including more background on the protagonist, Atsu, and details on her weapons.
Outside of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Astro Bot, PlayStation was surprisingly quiet throughout most of 2024, which put some big expectations on this year. So far, it's looking like a big year for the platform, with two major releases promised by the end of 2025 - Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yotei.
Sony's two big games this year were absent, but that may be more tactical than it appears.
We've known that Sucker Punch was working on a follow-up to Ghost of Tsushima pretty much since that game released, but we finally got confirmation towards the end of last year. Sadly, despite how many chances PlayStation has had to show Yotei since then, we've heard nothing more about the sequel since then.
While we've still not got any clue when we can expect to see another trailer or get a proper deep-dive, we have at least heard a few things about Yotei recently. Beyond a hiring post that confirmed...
