Just One Week After Launch, Viral Indie Game Schedule 1 Has Already Dethroned Monster Hunter Wilds

Last week, solo indie developer TVGS released its debut game, Schedule 1, a co-op management sim where you take on the role of a small-time drug dealer "rolling into a fresh town with no cash, no product and no connections", building your empire from nothing.

Basically, you're Heisenberg.

And like the drug dealer who rolled into town with nothing, it has taken Steam by storm, dethroning the immensely popular Monster Hunter Wilds (which has sold over ten million copies) with a new peak concurrent count of 414,000 players.

The top ten Steam games right now, based on their 24-hour peak concurrent player counts, look like this:

With its peak concurrent player count rising every single day, pushing it further and further up the ranks and dethroning some of the most popular triple-A games on the market right now, Schedule 1 has unsurprisingly broken into the top 30 most popular Steam games of all time, a hugely impressive feat for TVGS.
