Last April Fool's Day, Pocketpair teased Palworld: More Than Pals, a dating simulator spin-off of the studio's survival game Palworld. The stunt may have been an April Fools joke, but it turns out there was an actual hunger among the community members to see, and I'm quoting Pocketpair here, "Pals take off their clothes."
The ending slide of the original trailer promised a release date on April 1, 2025. Although most players thought this was a joke, Pocketpair's publishing manager, John Buckley, actually mentioned More than Pals during his talk at Game Developer Conference 2025: "We teased a totally not real, or maybe real, Palworld dating simulator last year that's slated to release this April Fools, maybe, or maybe not. I guess we'll see," he teased.
The sacred date is almost upon us, and Pocketpair has provided an update on the hypothetical dating sim. A social media post from the studio announced the release of a Steam page for More than Pals, urging fans to wishlist the game.
