RuneScape: Dragonwilds has just been unveiled, giving us another game as part of the RuneScape series. Unlike the main MMO, this will be an open world survival game, sharing the same setting.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is also developed by Jagex, and will be based on the island of Ashenfall. It is described as offering "co-operative survival crafting" gameplay, we can still team up with others just as we can in RuneScape proper, or go it alone.
The game's synopsis gives us a hint as to what we can expect from RuneScape: Dragonwilds:
On RuneScape’s forgotten continent of Ashenfall, dragons have awoken. Gather, build, skill and craft to survive in this co-operative survival crafting game. Only by mastering survival and uncovering ancient secrets can you hope to slay the Dragon Queen - alone or with allies.
We don't have a release date for Dragowilds just yet, but we are told that it will enter early access this spring. That means it could be with us very soon, even if it isn't ready for its full launch just yet.
