Metal Gear Soild Delta: Snake Eater ESRB Rating Confirms A Controversial Element Is Returning

As if 2025 wasn't stacked enough with major releases, including the likes of Grand Theft Auto 6, Ghost of Yōtei and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the planned remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 will also release this year. Indeed, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has been given an August 25 release, which isn't too far off, all things considered.

Guns of the Patriots will be leaving behind its PS3 exclusivity for the first time ever, and I hope it's done justice.

Ahead of its release, the game's ESRB rating has been revealed. And while it's a no-brainer that it's rated M for Mature, the rating does confirm the return of a rather controversial element from the original game.

As first spotted by Video Games Chronicle, Delta: Snake Eater will be rated M for Blood, Sexual Themes and Violence. That's all rather standard fare when it comes to MGS games and M-rated games as a whole.
