One final Season is coming to Street Fighter V.

On the Street Fighter V blog, it was announced that one final season is on the way for the fighter. Developer Capcom stated that due to the positive reception of Season Four and the Champion Edition of the game, they are planning on doing a final Season "V." This Season will add "V" new characters to the games already robust roster, as well as three new stages. Capcom stated that more details on Street Fighter V's fifth Season will come later this summer.

Capcom also announced the EX09 costumes for all of the game's fighters. The costumes were given out as a sign of appreciation for the positive reception that the title's Champion Edition has been receiving. The developer also announced a costume design contest for the fighter. Beginning now, fans can submit their costume design for any of the game's 40 fighters in the Champion Edition. The contest will end on July 21st, with the top two designs being made available in the game. Those who want to enter can check out the contest's official website for more information

News on Street Fighter V's fifth and final Season may be released at this year's EVO event. Earlier this month it was announced that EVO 2020 would be held online as the physical event was cancelled due to the effects of COVID-19. Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will be one of the main games featured during the tournament, along with Dragon Ball FighterZ, Tekken 7, and Soul Calibur VI. There will also be open tournaments that anyone can enter. Games for these open tournaments include Mortal Kombat 11 and Killer Instinct. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was removed from the event when it went to a digital only format. EVO this year will take place over five weekends: July 4-5, July 11-12, July 18-19, July 25-26, and July 31-August 2.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is available now for PC and PlayStation 4.
