Nintendo just dropped a breadcrumb trail leading straight to the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, or at least, that’s what a newly surfaced FCC filing suggests.

Less than 24 hours before the highly anticipated Nintendo Direct, a product listed under the code "BEE-008" surfaced, strongly indicating a brand-new game controller from Nintendo.

While nothing is officially confirmed yet, all signs point to the Switch 2’s Pro Controller, and one crucial detail has fans buzzing: a headphone jack.

Nintendo Pro Switch 2 Headphone Jack Finally Arrives?

The recent FCC listing reported by GoNintendo reveals that Nintendo has registered a wireless controller equipped with Bluetooth, NFC, and a built-in battery—all standard features for Nintendo’s Pro Controllers. However, the possibility of a headphone jack arriving makes this leak particularly exciting.

For years, Nintendo has stubbornly refused to add a headphone jack to its controllers, even as Sony and Microsoft have made it a standard feature with the DualSense and Xbox Series controllers. But the Switch 2 Pro Controller looks to be changing that.
