We just got another look at Mario Kart 9, giving us a better look at its gameplay and a title: Mario Kart World. This shows us how the racer will look on the Switch 2, and the improvements that have been made with this beefier hardware.
This comes as part of the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct. As well as giving us a better look at the next-gen console, the Direct also showcased some of the games that we'll be playing when it launches. Naturally, Mario Kart is part of the lineup, because it wouldn't be right to launch a new Nintendo console without another installment.
Mario Kart World was the first title confirmed for the system, as this was seen being played on the Switch 2 when the console was revealed back in January. This didn't give us too much to go on, however, just confirming that the game exists and will be available on the Switch 2.
