Elden Ring has been and gone for quite a while now, with most people looking forward to the upcoming release of Elden Ring: Nightreign. For those who have only ever owned a Nintendo Switch though, Elden Ring may be one of those games that they've never experienced, so Nintendo and FromSoftware are attempting to remedy this with Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, which was announced during today's Switch 2 Direct.
It will launch at some point in 2025, exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2, and includes the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion on top of that too. To make this edition of the game even more special though, FromSoftware has gone one step further and added a cool new feature and a couple of new armor sets, and one of them should be very familiar to Dark Souls 2 fans.
You can see the two armor sets in a tweet from the Elden Ring Twitter account earlier today, one of which has a very familiar tricorn hat, some red trousers, a cotton shirt, and brown gloves. It's relatively unassuming at first glance, but long-time FromSoftware fans will notice that this looks identical to the armor that Lucatiel wears in Dark Souls...
