"It Literally Hasn’t Had Time To Influence Anything": Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Fans On BAFTA List Inclusion

BAFTA recently released a list of Most Influential Video Games Of All Time. Selected via a poll, this list named 21 games that have each helped shape and advance the video game industry in their own way. It's easy to see why the likes of Doom, GTA, Super Mario Bros. and Tetris made the list.

Just when you thought you were out, they pull you back in.

There are some games on the list, though, that have caused gamers to scratch their heads. At the top of the list is Shenmue, which has a cult following, but can hardly be considered the most influential game of all time. However, more puzzling than that is a game that was released so recently that it hardly had the time to influence anything.

In a Reddit post on the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 subreddit, shared by none other than Hans Capon actor Luke Dale, even ardent fans of the game agree that it should not be on a list that showcases the most influential games ever made, especially since it launched just over two months ago.
