Complaints about Monster Hunter Wilds' performance and optimization have been prevalent since the beta test. Despite being the most successful game that Capcom ever put out, fans were unhappy with the state it was released in. Subsequent patches managed to lighten the load, but reports of optimization issues and crashes even on high-end systems still kept trickling in.

The Monster Hunter Wilds endgame just got a lot sweeter.

It was clear that Capcom needed to put out a major update in order to address these issues, and Title Update 1 was considered to be that update. Along with a new monster, a Grand Hub, and more, fans hoped that the update would fix the issues that the game has been plagued with.
