Bethesda has begun to test fishing in Fallout 76's public test servers, giving players the chance to try out the feature before it makes it into the main game. Fishing has long been requested by Fallout 76 players, and its full release is almost here.

Fallout 76 has come a long way since its troubled release in 2018. Back then, everything from its lofty, unfulfilled promises to its buggy state started a new controversy, leaving many to think that Fallout 76 was dead on arrival. However, Bethesda has remained committed to the game, and it's a totally different experience in 2025. Just recently, Fallout 76 released the "Ghoul Within" update, allowing players to play as a ghoul for the first time in the series' history.

Fallout 76 introduced a new threat with the Scorched Plague, and future games diving deeper into the sickness could be fascinating.
