When a port of Cyberpunk 2077 was announced for the Nintendo Switch 2, many started to joke about the new console not being able to handle it. As anyone who's played the game after all the updates can attest to, it looks gorgeous and runs very well (results may vary on Xbox Series S). In fact, updates ceased on PS4 and Xbox One in November 2022, and the Phantom Liberty expansion never made it to last-gen either, as future updates were too demanding.
With all of this in mind, a representative of CD Projekt Red has explained how the Switch 2 will handle Cyberpunk 2077 - while also potentially confirming the max capacity of the Switch 2's cartridges. Here, the rep says that the port uses all of the available space on the cartridge, and with the game having a confirmed size of 64 GB, it appears that this is the limit that other developers are working with, too.
