The Nintendo Switch 2's reveal has been a mixed bag. While fans are pleased to finally have a good idea of how the console will play and what games we'll be launching for it, the Direct was immediately followed by a very unpopular price reveal for both the hardware and the games.

However, if there's one thing that the majority of fans are pleased to see, it's that GameCube games will finally be made available as part of the Nintendo Switch Online offerings. This is being kicked off with three titles on day one: The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, SoulCalibur 2, and F-Zero GX. While more have been confirmed for release further down the line, there's a glaring omission so far: zero Sonic games.

Over on social media, Sonic fans are putting forward what games they would like to see made available through the Switch Online GameCube library.
