Grand Theft Auto 6 Listed For Over $100 By Retailer

A week after the shock of Nintendo announcing that the Nintendo Switch 2 would feature games costing as much as $90, a European retailer temporarily put a price tag on their Grand Theft Auto 6 listing. It's enough to make even Mario himself blush.

As spotted by GTA 6 Countdown, the Swiss retailer BrackCH temporarily posted a price for GTA 6 at $114.99. Of course, that's after converting from the local currency to USD, but it's still a shocking price.

Sadly, some people seem comfortable paying this much, with comments saying, "For GTA VI, yes," or "GTA 6 is the only game I'd spend $100 on."On the one hand, I get it: if I'm going to be getting hundreds, if not thousands, of hours worth of content, including free updates, it makes it an easier pill to swallow. Having said that, it's not a pill I'm happy to swallow, and it makes me more likely to wait for sales to pick up AAA games or spend my time checking out more fairly priced indies.
