One of my favorite things about Xbox Game Pass is the ability to play annual sports games through the service without spending $70 on the game's release. It's a great way to keep up with sports games without breaking the bank.
However, most sports games don't become available on Game Pass until several months after release, normally after their corresponding season is over. That's the case with the Madden franchise, but hey, it's a good way to fill the off-season football void.
One exception to this rule over the past few years has been MLB The Show, which has recently been available on day one on Xbox Game Pass. Sadly, that's not the case, as many gamers, including myself, are discovering that MLB The Show 25 is not on Xbox Game Pass this year.
