Over the last few weeks, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's competitive scene has gotten a lot more interesting. The release of Triumphant Light added some new cards, giving the meta one of its biggest shake-ups to date, and it was needed, given that the expansion also ushered in the game's ranked battles.

While many of TCG Pocket's meta cards come from the release of new expansions, occasionally, new events add some really competitive cards. It happened with a Cresselia ex promo that saw play for a while, and now, the new Pawmot Drop event has added five new promo cards for players to collect, one of which seems meta-ready — and it's not the featured Pokemon.
Pokemon TCG Pocket's Pawmot Drop event clearly focuses on the named Pokemon. You have to beat decks containing the card, and in doing so, you'll have a chance to get it and its cute artwork. Competitively, though, it's justfine.
