Spyro 4 Could Be Closer Than Ever, As Toys For Bob Reveals Its Also Working With Activision For Its Next Game

Spyro 4 is one of those long-running rumors that just won't go away. We've had no indication from Xbox or Activision that something is on the way, but newly independent developer Toys for Bob - which developed the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy - has been cryptically teasing what appears to be a Spyro revival for quite some time.

Spyro's hubworld is still unique, nearly three decades later.

First, the studio revealed that Xbox would be the company to fund its first solo project, which understandably led to rumors that it was something Spyro or Crash Bandicoot-related. Next, a YouTuber called Canadian Guy Eh claimed that multiple people at PAX East last year had told him that Spyro 4 is currently in the works at Toys for Bob, though it was early in development.

Most recently, Toys for Bob updated its website and added a purple box with a question mark inside to its list of games on the homepage, which is still there to this day. Now, we've had a couple more little nuggets of info and teases that something Spyro is coming from an email interview between Canadian Guy Eh and Toys for Bob studio head Paul Yan....
