For the past few days, the state of Battlefront 2 has been pretty egregious. Although the game has always had somewhat of a hacking and cheating problem on PC, in the last week, the issue has gotten so bad that players haven’t been able to get into matches.
The current condition has made the Battlefront 2 on PC practically unplayable, leading to fans begging EA to fix the issue and allow them to return to playing the game.
According to a recent statement from Kyber, a group of fan modders and developers dedicated to Battlefront 2, EA has finally started listening to fans and has begun implementing fixes to restore the game to a playable state.
Additionally, Kyber is set to continue to work on their dedicated community servers for Battlefront 2, implementing their own policy for cheating and hacking.
Although the main cause of the recent Battlefront 2 hacking is uncertain, one thing is clear: hackers are set to ruin everyone's experience. The biggest problem the PC community is facing is in the bigger 40-player game modes, where cheaters have made it impossible for players to spawn.
