There's no doubt that Elden Ring will go down as one of the greatest games of our generation. The culmination of FromSoftware's Souls series features the stunning open world of The Lands Between, some iconic bosses, and lore written by none other than George R.R. Martin. Is it really any surprise that it has officially sold 30 million copies?

It has been claimed that Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will take inspiration from Elden Ring, and it won't be the last.

Its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC was so good that many considered it a contender for Game of the Year, even though it wasn't a standalone game. Very few games have accomplished what Elden Ring has, setting a new bar for open-world RPGs.
