As more time passes, the threat that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be delayed becomes more of a reality. It's been almost a year and a half since the first and only trailer was released, and the GTA community has been in meltdown ever since.
Wild predictions, dashed hopes, and shattered dreams have littered the internet as fans clamor for something from the world's most anticipated title. Things have gotten so bad that Take-Two Interactive's CEO has publicly explained the company's decision not to release anything yet.

That wait now looks a whole lot longer as one former Rockstar employee and Grand Theft Auto 4 developer has suggested that the company might not make the decision to delay the game until as late as July 2025.
