Last year, CD Projekt RED showcased a cinematic trailer and fully revealed The Witcher IV at The Game Awards 2024, the next entry in its award-winning fantasy role-playing franchise.
The Witcher 4 puts players in the shoes of Ciri, who is a trained monster-hunting Witcher this time around. This has made a lot of fans wonder if we are going to see more familiar faces in this game.
For instance, we know that Geralt, and his long-time voice actor, Doug Cockle, will be present in The Witcher IV in some form, as has been confirmed in the past.
But Yennefer of Vengerberg might not have the same luck! Speaking with EuroGamer, Yennefer’s voice actor, Denise Gough, has said that she has no information on The Witcher 4 and is not sure whether the character will return.
Even though The Witcher 4 entered full production last year, we still don’t know much about the game, and it is not going to come out at least until 2027, so a lot could change by then.
But certain key characters might not return to the sequel, and it makes sense, as the developers have confirmed that they are planning...
