Borderlands 4 has officially unveiled the four Vault Hunter classes players will be able to choose from following the release of the highly-anticipated looter shooter sequel. Since the first game's launch in 2009, the run-and-gun franchise has built up a reputation as one of the most popular looter shooters in gaming, complete with raunchy and over-the-top comedy. The franchise has seen three numbered main-series entries, as well as spinoffs like Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Now, fans are getting their first look at the playable cast of the long-awaited sequel.

Gearbox Software finally revealed Borderlands 4 late last year after years of rumors and speculations about the franchise's next big game. Borderlands 4 looks to be making plenty of major departures from the franchise's traditions, taking players to a new planet in Kairos and introducing The Timekeeper as the game's main antagonist. Rumors have also hinted at several other series staples not returning, with "Catch-A-Ride" potentially being removed from the newest game. A new gameplay trailer is now introducing fans to four brand-new Vault Hunters.
