It looks like Strategist heroes just got stronger in Marvel Rivals. NetEase Games has rolled out a new balance patch for Marvel Rivals with a host of tweaks across the roster, but the primary focus is on some of the most popular Strategist heroes.
More specifically, there are buffs coming to Adam Warlock, Cloak and Dagger, Luna Snow, and Mantis, which should help them deal with backline attackers like Black Panther, Spider-Man, and Magik.
The balance changes come alongside a slew of other fixes and adjustments.
Strategists Get Extra Damage And More
Most of the Strategist buffs are focused on improving their ability to do damage, but not all of them.
Mantis and Cloak and Dagger both got straightforward damage buffs. Mantis’s Life Energy Blast got boosted from 50 damage to 55, while Cloak got his Darkforce Cloak damage upped from 75 to 80 per second, and Dagger’s Lightforce Daggers now deal 15 instead of 18.
Luna Snow’s buff is focused on making her do more damage from a distance, decreasing her main weapon’s damage falloff at long range, so it now does 75% of its regular damage instead of 60%.
