While indie developers being able to release their games on digital platforms is primarily a good thing, there are some instances where it seems some companies take advantage of this a little too much.

Since last year, digital storefronts like the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam, and the Nintendo eShop have sold many shovelware games. It's a bit worrying that even today, platform holders have done nothing to curb this. While Nintendo doesn't seem to be stopping these shovelware titles from being sold at the eShop, they just changed to prevent these games from being seen more frequently.
