GameByte.com is reporting that Amazon Canada has leaked a placeholder for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 2018, the first new game in the series since Blacklist came out in 2013. The placeholder has since been removed from Amazon Canada, but there's always someone out there with a finger on the "Print Screen" button:
It's possible that the game could be announced at E3 and make it out the gate in 2018, particularly if Ubisoft has been keeping its development hush hush for the last few years. However, it's equally likely that, if it actually is announced at E3, it will be targeting a 2019+ release window, probably with a different title. Either way, we'll be keeping eyes on it.
As with all rumors, it's always a good to remember that it's not a certainty, but it is fun to wonder!
