Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian Studios is opening up an "entirely new department" focusing on storytelling across its games going forward. The Baldur's Gate 3 developer is ramping up work on its future projects, and work has begun to ensure its quality storytelling remains intact.

Larian has long been a creator of critically-acclaimed CRPGs, with its Divinity series beginning back in 2002. However, the studio entered the mainstream with the massive 2023 megahit Baldur's Gate 3, which spent almost three years in Early Access before its eventual launch.
