Bitcraft Online is an upcoming survival and crafting MMORPG where players can build their own towns and create a player-driven economy in a procedurally generated world. Not only is Bitcraft aiming to give players full control over the construction of new civilizations, but their latest announcement reveals that the game will be open-sourced.
According to a blog post from Clockwork Labs, open-sourcing Bitcraft will allow players to "browse the codebase, modify the code, share the code, host your own servers, experiment with mechanics, or just satisfy your curiosity about how an MMORPG ticks under the hood."

Bitcraft's early-access is set to launch on June 20th, 2025, after over seven years of development from Clockwork Labs, and the Bitcraft team has stated open-sourcing will be implemented shortly after the launch of early-access.
