Call of Duty: Warzone developer Raven Software has patched a popular exploit that was allowing players to drop their custom loadout in the pre-game lobby and re-obtain the weapons once the match had begun. A small update for Call of Duty: Warzone was released on May 5, which fixes the issue and prevents players from dropping their loadouts in the pre-game lobby.
The exploit made its way into Warzone with the launch of Call of Duty's Season 3 Reloaded update, which kicked off on May 1 with new content for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The highly anticipated mid-season refresh brought two new Multiplayer maps to Black Ops 6 and a Directed Mode for the latest Zombies map, Shattered Veil. A new "High Art" event also went live with Season 3 Reloaded, allowing players to unlock many new rewards in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The event will be live in both titles until May 15, with a new Ladra SMG, a Mini-Rocket conversion kit for the Goblin Mk2, and much more.
Call of Duty: Warzone’s nostalgia-fueled return underscores Apex Legends’ need for a defining moment to revive its fading momentum.
