Elden Ring was the first third-party game revealed during the debut Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, but it’s not the version of the game everyone played on other platforms. No, this is the Tarnished Edition, which comes with new skins for Torrent, along with extra pieces of gear and combat arts.
FromSoftware revealed new details about Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition (as spotted by Famitsu), which include two new character classes for players to select when they boot up a new game. These are the Knight of Ides and the Heavy Knight.
Elden Ring’s Tarnished Edition Is Adding New Character Classes
The player selects a character base at the beginning of Elden Ring, each of which has a starting level, stats, equipment, spells, and items. The exception to this is the Wretch, who starts at level 1 and only has a club with which to defend themselves from the horrors of The Lands Between.
