Ubisoft recently released a post-launch roadmap for Assassin's Creed Shadows, detailing the game's upcoming updates and expansions. The roadmap specifically concerns Shadows' first year of release.
The first major milestone on the roadmap has just been added to Shadows, a new free story pack called "The Works of Luis Frois." Players will primarily remember Frois for his participation in the Jesuit mission, for which Yasuke acted as a bodyguard.
The pair went their separate ways after Yasuke entered the service of Oda Nobunaga, with Frois settling in Kyoto. They did reunite briefly to discuss the samurai and templar Kimura Kei, but Frois ceased playing an important role after this particular quest. The new story pack re-involves the historian, as he seeks a favour from Yasuke.
Luis Frois was a real-life Jesuit who preached in Japan, famous for his writings on the Sengoku Period, the period in which Assassin's Creed Shadows takes place.
