Ever since the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 dropped, fans have been trying to figure out what the story will be about. One of the more popular theories is that there will be a twist at some point in the main story: Jason is actually an undercover cop.
Given that Lucia is fresh out of prison and involved in a whole lot of criminal activity, that would have huge implications for their relationship. It would also have a lot of implications for the gameplay, since we're playing as both of them, and it would be pretty difficult to keep that twist from the players if we're controlling Jason at points in the game. But despite this, the latest trailer might have just backed up this theory.
In the long-awaited second trailer for GTA 6, we see Jason going to pick up Lucia from prison. Here, one of the workers appears to recognise Jason, asking if he's seen him there before. Considering that this is presumably a women-only prison, he wouldn't have been an inmate, but could have been there as a cop, escorting prisoners.
