The announcement comes as part of a slew of confirmations, with the next 10 months set to bring seven major releases. Five of them are your usual periodic sports releases, but the big stars of the presentation are Battlefield 6 and Skate 4.
According to the webcast and the document put out by EA, the gaming giant will have both games out before March 2026. For most Battlefield fans, this is the third (and hopefully final) release date update by EA.
Back in February, EA had announced plans to have the next Battlefield title out before April 2026. The celebrations lasted less than 24 hours, as CEO Andrew Wilson came on to say the date was still up in the air.
The main reason for the reluctance was avoiding dropping too close to a major competitor. Now, while Wilson didn't name names specifically, it was clear that the executive was talking about Grand Theft Auto 6.
