Yesterday, Rockstar Games surprised everyone by dropping the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 without any previous announcements. As one might expect, this has caused fans to catch GTA 6 fever once again.

The appeal of Grand Theft Auto 6 is so massive that it has even pulled up the Pointer Sisters' Hot Togther song, which was used in the trailer.

Hot Together Song Sizzles As Numbers Spike On Spotify

On the music streaming app Spotify, the 1986 song went up at an unbelievable 182,000% in the two hours following the trailer's premiere.

Spotify’s Global Head of Editorial Sulinna Ong gave a statement about it (via IGN), "Grand Theft Auto cuts through popular culture like almost nothing else. Music has been synonymous with the series since the very beginning, so it’s great to see fans both new and established connecting with an iconic track in this way."

Since the trailer launched, it has been watched over 80 million times on Rockstar Games' official channel. It doesn't even factor in the re-uploads and social media engagement as well.
