This Nintendo Switch 2 Feature Is Leaving Fans Frustrated

Following the hysteria over trying to pre-order a Nintendo Switch 2 earlier this month, Nintendo appears to be getting its ducks in a row ahead of the June 5th launch.

Fans have already expressed their displeasure with the new console's price, which retails at $449.99 and $499.99 for a bundle with Mario Kart World. They're even more upset with the stand-alone cost of games, which, in the case of Mario Kart, is as high as $79.99.

Nintendo responded to these comments, with Nintendo of America head Doug Bowser telling CBC that they "recognize there are some people that may not be able to afford [the Switch 2’s] price point. That’s why we wanted to make the other Switch platforms available, so [people] still have an opportunity to come into our gaming universe, be a part of these characters in these worlds, and see value, if you will, in whatever rung of the platform they come in."

That went over as well as you'd expect, but now fans are upset with Nintendo over something entirely new.
