If you're a Genshin Impact player in the US, there will be another layer of info that you'll need to share before you can log in. Developer miHoYo has confirmed that age verification is something the US law now mandates for the game.
The roll out for this will start this month, though players can wait until July if they want to do this or not.

The age verification process will be rolled out to all US players on all platforms (consoles, PC, mobile) on May 20. Players will be notified of it once they login or during account creation.
If you're unsure whether you want to input your age or not, you'll have up tp July 18, 2025 to do so. If you fail to verify your age, this will result in (via miHoYo):
The developers have added that if the verification isn't completed by July 20, the personal info of the person's HoYoverse account will be deleted permanently.
