The Papal conclave has convened after the sad demise of Pope Francis last month. Plumes of black smoke have poured out of the chimney of the Sistine Chapel a couple of times to denote that there hasn't yet been a consensus on choosing the next Pope. While the movie Conclave gives us some idea of what goes on during this process, a Spanish television channel has presented the process in a way gamers will understand.

Spanish television channel Cuatro has resorted to a rather unique manner to depict what goes on during the conclave by using a Dark Souls 3 boss fight. FromSoftware fans might have already guessed that the boss in question is Pontiff Sulyvahn, as the fight takes place in the Irithyll Cathedral.

During a segment on the election process, the presenter talked about how predicting who the next Pope has almost become a game. "The prediction markets are going viral these days in Italy.
