Before Death Stranding 2's Release Kojima Gives Disappointing Update On Future Sequels

While Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has yet to be released, legendary game creator Hideo Kojima already has ideas for where the third game, and even other sequels, can go from where DS2 left off.

Here's the thing: Kojima confirmed he won't be developing it, as he wants to pass it on to someone else. With the game maker's plate already full, it's understandable why he would want someone else to continue the franchise.

Death Stranding 2's Plate Gate Concept Can Make "Endless Sequels"

Speaking to VGC, Kojma talked about the "Plate Gate" concept and how it can spawn "endless sequels" by having Death Stranding games take place in different countries around the world.

Kojima shared, "If I use this Plate Gate concept, I could make endless sequels. I, of course, don’t have any plans to do that, but I already have a concept for another sequel. I am not going to make it myself, but if I passed it on to someone else, they could probably make it."
