The Xbox Games Showcase begins today at 9 am Pacific, but there are a lot more festivities to catch than the main event. If you're looking to tune in live as it unfolds, you can do that right here on OpenCritic.
The pre-show begins at 8 am on YouTube where the Summer Game Fest crew of Geoff Keighley, Austin Evans, Alanah Pearce, Danny O’Dwyer, Jacksepticeye, J.D. Witherspoon, Laurenzside, Lamarr Wilson, Matpat and more will drop in (get it, like Halo) and reveal more gaming news before Phil Spencer and company have even taken their virtual stage. The YouTube Gaming crew will also be making predictions, sharing their favorite Xbox memories, and looking ahead to the main event at 9 am.
Once that begins, you can watch it here as well and be among the first fans in the world to see campaign footage of Halo Infinite. As for what else we can expect to see at today's show, we know some for sure and can reasonably (or wildly) guess others.
Psychonauts 2 is expected to be on "stage." Though the long in-progress game is still set to be a multiplatform title, Double Fine is now part of the Xbox Game Studios family. Rare's newest IP, Everwild, is set to debut as well, while many expect Playground's unnamed RPG - which is probably Fable - will finally be unveiled.
In total, Xbox Game Studios is now 15 studios strong, and with a 60-minute show, even a hefty 20-minute presentation for Halo still leaves a lot of show to be filled. Look for Hellblade 2, The Outer Worlds DLC, and more than a handful of surprises to round out what is set to be a massive showcase for the green team.
Once the show ends, the post-show begins. Though no public schedule for that has been shown yet, we can expect deeper dives into some of what Xbox shows off during the main event. Watch it all here on OpenCritic, then get to predicting all these new games' eventual review averages.
