During the Xbox Games Showcase, Phil Spencer and company showcased 35 games, all of which will be on Game Pass on day one, including 15 newly showcased indies.
While surefire hits like Halo Infinite, Obsidian's new RPG Avowed, and Hellblade 2 will make up most headlines, Xbox continues to cement itself as the leader in the race to become "the Netflix of games" with Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate. To that end, 15 new ID@Xbox games were revealed as console launch exclusives for Xbox One and Xbox Series X, in many cases even being cross-gen games.
Among the list are some indies we already knew about as well as a few new games too. Highlights on the list include Tunic, which was first revealed at E3 and stars an armor-clad fox in a retro Zelda-like world.
12 Minutes is a drama we first saw last summer that involves a man stuck in a timeloop trying to prevent his wife from dying. From what we've seen so far, the entire game seems to take place in his apartment from a top-down view.
Other highlights include Dead Static Drive, which combines an original GTA style with Lovecraftian horrors, Lake, a period piece about being a mail carrier in Oregon, and The Ascent, a co-op dungeon crawler in a cyberpunk world.
Here's the full list. Keep in mind every one of these games will also launch into Game Pass on day one:
- 12 Minutes
- Dead Static Drive
- Exo One
- Lake
- Last Stop
- Mad Streets
- Sable
- Shredders
- Song of Iron
- The Artful Escape
- The Ascent

- Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy
While many of these are without release dates today, Xbox Game Pass subscribers won't need to worry about accessing them as they'll immediately be found in the library.
