Just a few days after it leaked, Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter 6 is officially real.
Blizzard announced on social media that Overwatch 2 is getting a crossover event with Street Fighter 6, coming to the game on May 20.
They haven’t said much about what the event will include, but the flashy animated trailer at least shows off the new skins.
Overwatch 2 has been doing well with collaborations lately, as this event follows the recent Gundam Wing event and another with the K-pop group LE SSERAFIM.
Showing Off The New Skins
The trailer gives us a look at the skins coming to the game, focusing mostly on Juno as Chun Li, Widowmaker as Cammy, and Hanzo as Ryu, fighting each other with some Street Fighter 6 flair as Widowmaker tries to use her Drive Impact on Juno before just taking out their guns.
The trailer goes on to show off Kiriko as Juri, Soldier: 76 as Guile, Zenyatta as Dhalsim, Winston as Blanka, and Sigma as M. Bison.
