A figure that has haunted the dreams of Final Fantasy fans will be returning in cardboard form, as the notorious Absolute Virtue from Final Fantasy XI is coming to Magic: The Gathering as a mighty creature.
Absolute Virtue is an infamous boss from Final Fantasy XI, as it was so ridiculously hard to kill, and took years for fans to work out a legitimate strategy for defeating it. Absolute Virtue not only regularly regenerated a ton of health, but it could instantly heal to full using Benediction, unless players used specific strategies to seal it off.
The Final Fantasy series is crossing over with Magic: The Gathering in an upcoming set. It was revealed during PAX East that Absolute Virtue is making a comeback, as a Legendary Creature that is incredibly hard to stop.

Absolute Virtue is an 8/8 Legendary Creature Avatar Warrior that costs eight mana to summon (one white, one blue, and six of any other color). It has Flying and can’t be countered, which means it’s tough to defend against.
