A Baldur's Gate 3 player has stumbled across one of the game's main party members a bit later than intended, only finding Astarion after more than 40 hours of playtime. The hugely successful RPG from Larian Studios offers a diverse and deep cast for players to interact with, offering the chance for many characters to join the party. While some characters like Halsin and Minthara can be easily missed by players, the game's "Origin" characters are meant to be the foundation for the player's adventures across Faerun. However, one player found themselves bypassing a core character.

Within the opening hours of Baldur's Gate 3, players are introduced to several core party members in the crash site surrounding the Nautiloid. Players can easily find characters like Shadowheart, Gale, and Lae'zel in the areas surrounding the crash site, with each representing core classes like Cleric and Wizard. Many more characters can be found throughout the progression of Act 1, including Wyll at the Emerald Grove and Karlach on the Risen Road. One player is now sharing their humorous Baldur's Gate 3 story, accidentally missing one of the game's most beloved characters.
