A detailed video has revealed a bunch of new details about the cancelled sequel to 2005's Ultimate Spider-Man, which would have introduced a new playable character and featured several Marvel characters, both new and returning.
Before Insomniac Games mastered Spider-Man with its recent trilogy of games, the wall-crawler had a storied history of being passed around from studio to studio. Perhaps the most important developer in Spider-Man's gaming history is none other than Treyarch, who created the bar-setting Spider-Man 2 adaptation that many still consider to be one of the franchise's best games.

Spider-Man 2 wasn't the only web-swinging game that Treyarch made, though, as they also developed Ultimate Spider-Man based on the comics of the same name a year later.
