The Switch 2 Will Finally Let You Lock Your System With A Pin

In just 24 days, the Nintendo Switch 2 will officially be released, and Nintendo is forecasting big things for its successor to the original Nintendo Switch. Recently, it revealed that it anticipates pushing 15 million consoles in its first year, which would be more than the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 did.

Switch is already a bigger success than the Wii U ever was.

There's a lot to be excited about, including games like Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, that Nintendo believes simply could not be realized on the original Switch. Oh, and if that wasn't enough, you'll finally be able to lock your Switch device with a pin.

In a new video shared on the Nintendo Today! app, the Switch 2 will allow owners to set a device pin to further secure their device.

Via the System Settings, Switch 2 owners will be able to "lock" their system with a pin, presumably a four-digit combination, that will require you to enter it when the system wakes from sleep mode.

The feature will mirror that of phones and computers, as well as other consoles, in allowing owners to secure the device to prevent others from accessing it...
