For the last few months, debate has raged online as to whether Persona 5: The Phantom X will be coming to the West. Changes to Steam's backend suggested a PC release was imminent, but the absence of an English-language option exacerbated fears that the mobile and PC title wouldn't be making its way to these shores. A separate developer livestream, which suggested the game was almost complete, also indicated the game would be getting an English release, adding to the confusion.
Persona 4 Remake is shaping up to follow the exact same pattern as Persona 3 Reload.
Thankfully, it looks like all of that confusion is about to come to an end, as Atlus West is teasing some Persona-related news, which could be linked to an upcoming Persona 5: The Phantom X developer livestream.
In a new post on the Atlus West social media accounts, the team said, "Think you dropped this..." followed by an emoji of an owl. This was followed by the words "Stay tuned!" and an image reminiscent of Persona 5, with bold black and red colors.
