Ubisoft is fielding the Assassin's Creed Shadows community for post-launch update ideas on Reddit, asking what you want to see added to the game.

That doesn't just include quality-of-life tweaks, either, but also more in-depth features. There are a lot of suggestions to sift through, with over 600 comments at the time of writing, so let's dig into some of the more popular ones.

A common complaint that keeps cropping up on the subreddit is how disjointed Naoe and Yasuke's gameplay feels from the narrative. They work in tandem against targets, and build up repertoire between missions, but we only ever see them together in cutscenes. When we shift into gameplay, one of the pair suddenly disappears.

u/supersansa has a simple solution: "Naoe or Yasuke as a companion." Others, like u/Still_Ad_2898, added that we should be able to seamlessly swap between them, and u/Pyro_liska suggested that when you interact with an NPC who will only talk to either Naoe or Yasuke, it should automatically change characters for you. It would certainly go a long way to making the pair feel more organically intertwined with the world.
