Mortal Kombat 1 fans have spotted a new "Definitive Edition" on the PlayStation Store, seemingly confirming that there will be no future DLC, and that the rumoured Kombat Pack 3 has been cancelled.

This was first pointed out by Twitter user @iScreamFGC, who is known for covering both of NetherRealm's fighting games, Mortal Kombat and Injustice. They claim that when you click on the sponsored ad, it takes you to an error page which says, "Can't find what you're looking for".

It's likely that the ad was pushed earlier, and that it's intended to be announced and released later this year. Nonetheless, a 'Definitive Edition' comprised of all DLC suggests that no more is planned.

Last year, reputable Mortal Kombat 1 leaker FateUnknown claimed that all the game's future DLC had been cancelled, and that a third Kombat Pack was no longer on the table. The pack would have reportedly included Jade, Cassie Cage, Kung Jin, Sonya, and Kano, finally bringing several of the series' most popular characters to the main roster.

However, it's worth noting that two other insiders came forward with different line-ups for Kombat Pack 3, though they also stressed that it had been cancelled.
