Doom: The Dark Ages is already out for those who paid for early access, but for the rest of us, the gates of Hell open tomorrow. While the new weapons, gore and, open-world are the main attractions of the game, it seems there's a handful of people who are pondering over the Slayer's face.
The Slayer is ready to get all medieval on their demonic asses.
While there are some who think he's cute, most are puzzled about how he looks so young. The lore of the Doom series is absolutely confusing, with multiple dimensions, alternate Earths and several hells. I won't presume to know anything about it. However, considering how young he looks here, fans are very confused about how old he really is.
Doom: The Dark Ages isn't shy about showing the Slayer without his iconic helmet. But this has caused a bit of confusion among fans about the timeline for the series. Some thought he didn't age, while others surmised that he must have been in his teens in earlier games. Unfortunately, id Software hasn't given us a proper timeline, so it's all up to interpretation.
